EVENT SOLD OUT!

Switchfoot will be returning to the Island as part of their grand Asia Pacific Tour at Suntec City Rock Auditorium on April 28th 2011. Selling over 4.4 million albums, with platinum success, San Diego-based Switchfoot comes armed with the latest tracks fresh from their Studio in Sand Diego.  This will be their most exciting Asia Pacific tour EVER to date. Be prepared to be part of a captivating, award winning experience that will knock your senses.

From the band’s Grammy nomination and a spot on the RIAA platinum soundtrack to 2000’s
A Walk to Remember [‘Learning to Breathe”], to achieving double-platinum success [Beautiful Letdown] and gold certified singles [“Dare You To Move”, “Meant To Live”, “Stars”], the band now has been creating music for its 8th album, “Vice Verses” due for release in June 2011. “We built our own studio so we wouldn’t be paying and playing by the hour,” says Foreman of their self-styled Studio of the Foot home. Beginning in 2007, the band has tracked more than 80 songs, allowing themselves to get lost in the music again and get back to basics. “That’s why we see this album as a new beginning of sorts,” continues Foreman, citing the inspiration that likewise moved bandmate/brother Tim Foreman (bass), Chad Butler (drums), Jerome Fontamillas (keyboards), and Drew Shirley (guitar). “For us it was a feeling of true freedom.”

To be amongst the first to experience their latest songs, this is a show not to be missed. “For the last decade or so, we’ve been a rock band that really thrives off the interaction with the crowd,” states Butler.  “Our motivation for playing music in the first place was a desire to connect with people in a deeper way.” Out of this connection the band’s renowned live show has developed an incredibly loyal following both in the USA and abroad.
